Taylors, the North West commercial law firm, has expanded its Employment team with the appointment of Tom Saville, in response to demand for its specialist employment services.
Tom joins Taylors' growing team after spending five years with Altrincham-based commercial firm, Myers Lister Price, where he was the lead employment lawyer.
He will be based at Taylors' Manchester city centre office and will support the firm's Head of Employment, Will Clayton. Tom's role with Taylors will see him working with a client base of North West-based SMEs operating across a broad range of commercial sectors, including the firm's core specialisms of manufacturing, engineering, textiles & home furnishings and charities/third sector.
Tom's appointment closely follows Solicitor, Ashna Chada joining the team from Pannone at the end of last year. Ashna is based at the firm's Blackburn office and supports Emma Swan, who it was recently announced has been promoted to Partner.
Will Clayton, Partner and Head of Employment at Taylors, commented, "During the last twelve months, we have seen a significant 36% increase in demand for our specialist employment services. This increase has come from our loyal existing client base as well as those clients that have chosen to work with Taylors for the first time, where we've seen a pleasing 65% increase compared to 2012. This is testament to the standard of client care that we offer, as well as to the commerciality and technical excellence of the team".
"We are very grateful to all our clients for their support and we will continue to put their interests first in all that we do as a firm".
