The North
West’s only solely commercial law
firm has strengthened its offering
by appointing leading commercial
property lawyer,
Mark Niven.
Mark joins Blackburn-based Taylors
Solicitors’ Manchester office as a
Partner, from the Manchester office
of Brabners Chaffe Street LLP’s
Commercial Property Department.
Before that, Mark worked within the
Real Estate Team at Eversheds LLP,
where he also trained. Mark has also
spent time in-house at the North
West Development Agency.
With extensive experience in most
areas of commercial property work,
Mark has a particularly strong
reputation in relation to landlord
and tenant / asset management work
for both corporate occupiers
(including increasingly popular
“design and build” transactions) and
investors. Mark has acted for SME’s,
including EDM Group Limited,
Protomed Limited and IJS Global (UK)
Limited, as well as larger
businesses with significant property
interests across the country,
including DHL and the Shaw Trust.
Elaine Hurn, Managing Partner at
Taylors said: "Mark is a great
addition to the team, his knowledge
and depth of experience means we can
provide a ‘one stop shop’ dealing
with all aspects of commercial
property for our clients.
Although Mark has spent his
entire professional life in
Manchester City Centre, many of his
clients are based outside the North
West, demonstrating his growing
reputation.
Mark added: "I am delighted to
join a young and dynamic firm with a
reputation for “City-Centre-quality”
advice coupled with a no-nonsense,
commercial and cost-effective
approach which its many
long-standing clients value."
"Mark’s reputation for focusing
on his clients’ objectives and going
the extra mile to achieve them
coupled with his broad commercial
property experience means that means
he will be an asset to the Taylors
team," explained Elaine. View
