Blackburn commercial law firm Taylors have just completed a
significant corporate transaction for a firm who’s product is used
in the production of Coca Cola bottles – proving once again that
Taylors are the real thing when it comes to commercial deals.
Working on behalf of B&H Polymers, who are based in Leigh and
with Sempra Plastics Limited in the UK and Sempra Plastics Corp in
the US, the team at Taylors handled the complex corporate deal.
B&H Group holds the rights in respect of Elixir brand polyethylene
terephthalate (PET) which is an accredited plastic polymer used in
the production of Coca Cola packaging materials.
The initial value of the transaction is around $10m but the supply
agreement is conservatively estimated to be worth several times that
figure over the duration of the arrangements.
Speaking of this unique deal Andrew Livesey, Partner at Taylors said
“this was a very substantial and complex transaction with the added
spice of an international dimension. The deal documents were the
fruit of detailed negotiations by the Taylors corporate team with
our counterparts at one of the top London corporate firms. Our
ability to field a team with substantial experience of heavyweight
corporate transactions was pivotal in securing a deal for our
client”.
Taylors continue to combine their commercial expertise with a
knowledge of the local market and it is this together with an
enviable partner-led service that clients find invaluable.
