Martin is a commercial lawyer, specialising in all
aspects of property transactions and business sales.
Experience
Martin extensive expertise, which includes work in the
following areas:
- Acquisitions and disposals of:
- hotels, restaurants and bars
- nurseries and care homes
- factories, offices and shops
- Landlord and tenant
- Commercial lending and financial restructures
- Agricultural land
- Telecommunications sites
- Windfarms
Martin is a graduate from Birmingham University. He has
spent the majority of his professional career in the North
West and most recently on the Fylde Coast with Blackhurst
Budd as a partner. He holds a number of non-executive
positions including non-executive director of Blackpool
Primary Care Trust, Chairman of Age UK Blackpool and
District. He is the solicitor to Rishton Cricket Club.
Martin also sits as a part-time Judge for the Appeals
service.
Martin, who lives in Rishton, is married to Elaine and
they have two children, Imogen and Joshua.
Interests
Martin’s main interests are film, theatre, reading –
visiting historic houses and classic cars.
